What is a water borehole?
A water borehole is an increasingly popular method of sourcing water independently of the water authority. Essentially it’s your very own water well pumping fresh water straight to your property. You generally have the right to extract 20,000 litres a day without a license on your own property. A borehole can provide an alternative water source if normal methods are not logistically viable.

How do i get one?
You contact us of course and we’ll come fully equipped and drill one for you. We generally like to use a cable percussion (shell and auger) rig for a water well drilling assuming our site investigation has made that plausible. This is because the rotary rigs can wash particles into the borehole walls and fissures which can reduce flow and inherently require them to drill deeper. Sometimes the geology and depth required will necessitate a rotary rig being more practical. We use all the available information to make this assessment before the job starts so that there are no hold ups.
We prefer to take full responsibility for a job which is why we offer the full installation from the point of initial assessment to the point of water from the tap. Everything is taken care of in house with an onus on efficiency and reliability.
